BULITEX^® is a thermoplastic composite using multi-layered woven fiber technology, not common chopped fibers. This process creates the first ballistic-grade material that is virtually impenetrable and is up to six times stronger than traditional FRP panels that are over four times as thick.

The ballistic-technology used in the BULITEX^® process creates a composite of unprecedented strength and durability. Continuous layers of an exclusive thermoplastic woven fiber are heated and compressed, forming a material that becomes rigid as it cools. This process produces the impact-absorbing BULITEX^® protection used in dry vans, refrigerated trailers and railcars. The superior strength of .200" BULITEX^® is demonstrated by its ability to stop a .45 caliber bullet fired from 20 feet. These same energy-absorbing characteristics are applied in stopping continuous forklift abuse which results in ongoing repair and replacement of all types of trailer walls and roofs.

Standard and Custom Sizes

BULITEX^® is available in standard widths with custom widths up to 112". BULITEX^® scuff and wall liners are .040", .060", .080", .100", and .120" thick. Our lifetime warranted scuff liner is .200".

BULITEX ^® panels, sheets and coils can be cut to your exact length and height specifications, eliminating waste. They are banded in sets of two per trailer for fast and easy installation, or custom packaged for shipping per your specifications, including bulk coils.

BULITEX^® can be quickly mounted with ordinary hand tools using common fasteners, adhesives or U.S. Liner's One-Step Screw that self-drills, self-threads and self-countersinks.
