PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

BULITEX Reefer Panels are available in .050" and .070" thicknesses. Special orders up to .120" thick are available with a minimum
order. Call for details.

BULITEX is a thermoplastic composite using multi-layered woven fiber technology (not common chopped fibers). This exclusive
manufacturing process creates a virtually impenetrable ballistic-grade material that is over four times stronger than traditional FRP
panels.

The finished surface of BULITEX Reefer Panels have been approved for the following FDA regulations: FDA Title 21 CRS 177.1520,
FDA Title 21 CFR 178.2010 and FDA Title 21 CFR 175.300.

REEFER PANELS
INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS:  

Dimensions shall be as specified on the purchase order, subject to the following tolerances:

Width: +/-1/8"
Length: +/-1/8" up to 12', + 1/4" from 12' to 40', bulk coil -0" and + 1%
Squareness: 1/8" in 4'

Widths up to 112" are available by special request.

Panel edges and fastener holes need to be properly sealed to prevent water penetration. BULITEX can be sheared, sawed, routed and drilled. Protect your eyes with goggles when cutting BULITEX.

U.S. Liner identifies all pieces of BULITEX with an exclusive BULITEX label, indicating which side faces cargo.

 

MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  1. Panels shall be made of the composite described above and the wear side shall have a smooth, woven finish. They will provide a clean, aesthetically-pleasing finished installation. Occasional processing marks are a common manufacturing occurrence and do not affect the quality or functionality of the product. Back side imperfections which do not affect functional properties are not cause for rejection.
  2. The surface of BULITEX Reefer Wall/Ceiling panels has been approved for the following FDA regulations:
a. FDA Title 21 CFS 177.1520 Olefin polymers for food contact use.
b. FDA Title 21 CFR 178.2010 Anti-oxidants and stabilizers for food contact use.
c. FDA Title 21 CFR 175.300 Resinous and Polymer coatings for food contact use.
