American Made Liners

American Made, LLC and U.S. Liner Co.

American Made, Inc. was founded in 1983 as the premier manufacturer of rigid polymer lining systems for the transportation industry, specifically, haulers using dump trucks and trailers. Using technological advances in polymer science, American Made was the first to introduce HMW (high molecular weight) and UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) plastics as the best means of reducing sticking loads in dump bodies and trailers.

The company broadened its range of services in 1990 by entering the composite market. A division, U.S. Liner Company, was established to specifically manufacture protective scuff liners and wall panels for dry vans. Applying the latest composite technology, in 1998 U.S. Liner developed BULITEX, a ballistic-grade material that is revolutionizing the trailer industry by eliminating fork truck and cargo damage in both dry vans and refrigerated trailers. BULITEX is successfully eliminating both traditional and customer-specific damage problems with scuff and wall liners, translucent roofs and reefer wall applications.

Because of its maximum durability and minimum weight, BULITEX is being used in environments far more abusive than trailer interiors, such as molded impact-resistant bumpers for the automotive industry, composites for refrigerated railcars, as well as container and military applications. With BULITEX technology at the forefront of solutions for design-related problems in vans and trailers, U.S. Liner is widening its global approach by working with a variety of other industries to also provide solutions to their impact, damage and wear areas. In short, U.S. Liner Company is dedicated to designing the best-engineered products for specific customer requirements.

Now known as American Made, LLC, the companies continue to devote their expertise to solving protective maintenance and load-release issues. To this day, American Made custom produces each bedliner based upon customer requirements. A determination of the customer’s typical hauling practices will determine which bedliner system is best-suited for their needs: RE-PRO Bedliner Systems are specifically made for heavy-duty hauling applications, such as rock, limestone, gravel, coal, flyash and other more abrasive loads. E-Z Medium Duty Bedliner Systems help in releasing less abrasive, yet sticky loads such as dirt, sand, clay, sludge, mulch, kaolin, grain, produce, fertilizers and more. Hot asphalt haulers find BLACKFIRE Hi Temp Bedliners the optimum solution for releasing loads up to 375°.

Our continued development of polymers for the transportation industry has positioned American Made as the recognized leader in high-quality liner systems. We welcome your inquiries.
